Meopta - optika, s.r.o. was awarded second place in the 10th Annual Investor of the Year competition in the category of “Greatest Innovation Potential”. The competition, organized by the Investment and Business Development Agency CzechInvest and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic along with the Association for Foreign Investment, is held annually to recognize the companies and projects which show the greatest usage and potential usage of capital investment for development and innovation. The project titled “Modernization of Research and Development - Meopta” was entered and ultimately awarded second place. The project, realized in the program “Potential” within “Operational Program Enterprise and Innovation”, is aimed at the modernization and expansion of Research and Development facilities at Meopta.
