Spectrometric and laser laboratory assures measurement of spectral parameters in the whole area of visible light (VIS), in ultraviolet area (UV) and near as well as middle infrared area (NIR). Wavelength range is 175nm - 25 μm. On optical elements and optical assemblies we measure reflectance, transmission and optical density. By spectrometric methods we can also state polarization direction and extinction ratio of polarized prisms or foils.
Given the above mentioned wide range of spectral measurements, it is necessary to use many different types of measuring devices, methods and jigs. In Meopta we designed and produced rotary tables with an incremental sensor for accurate angle set up on measured pieces and also number of jigs for measurement of exacting assemblies.
Equipment:
Specification of parameters and measurement accuracy of PerkinElmer devices
Specification of parameters and measurement accuracy of Nicolet FT-IR 6700 for VIS and IR area
Measurement of spectral parameters on one wavelength.
Measurement system includes rotary table (possibility to set up angle of incidence of laser beam on measured piece in range of 0°-80°) and detector connected to power meter.
This system can be upgraded with additional parts – e.g. polarizer or phase plate.
