Meopta has extensive experience with the development and production of laboratory equipment, with particular expertise in the area of luminometry.

The basic laboratory apparature is a Luminometer LM 03 which is a fundamental laboratory device used for screening human serum samples through immunochemical analysis. This luminometer features a microtiter plate that is able to evaluate 96 samples within 180 seconds.

Emitted radiation is transmitted through an optical system and detected by a photomultiplier. Electronic processing and evaluation is done by special software. The device doesn’t have an autonomous mode. PC issues commands to device function, stores measured data and processes data for the evaluation of individual samples. Mechanical and electrical construction, verificated by long term tests, ensures a long, trouble-free operation of the device.
